There is a large car park adjacent to The James Monro which is an NCP Carpark. The car park is accessed via Smithfield Street the entrance to which is by the bus stop and Shananigans Irish Bar is on the corner. There is also on street parking in the same street.
Most visitors to Liverpool will be routed either through one of the Mersey tunnels or Edge Lane from the M62. The journey time from both is approximately 15 minutes.
By Train:
Nearest Stop: Liverpool Moorfields
If arriving via Liverpool Lime Street change to the Merseyrail underground service to Moorfields or take a taxi which will cost approximately £4.50.
If you alight at Liverpool Moorfields, as you leave the station, leave by the Moorfields exit and turn right. You will see the excellent art installation - "Turning the Place Over". At the top of the street which rises on a shallow hill turn right and cross over and you will see us straight ahead.
Summary:
Out of station - turn right out of Moorfields exit.
Proceed up the street - turn right and cross over.
Straight ahead on the left.
